These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Barkify ("we," "our," or "us") and the website and services at barkify.app (the "Service"). By accessing or using Barkify, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using Barkify, you represent that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when registering
• Not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Not violate any laws, infringe others' rights, or transmit harmful or offensive content
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems
• Not use the Service to spam, harass, or harm others

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or for other reasons we deem appropriate.

You retain ownership of content you submit (e.g., profile data, links, reminders). By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, store, display, and transmit it as needed to provide and improve the Service. Your public profile (e.g., at barkify.app/yourusername) is visible to others; do not share information you wish to keep private.

You are responsible for your content. We do not endorse user content and may remove content that violates these Terms or our policies.

Barkify and its branding, design, and technology are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our Service or content (other than your own) without our permission.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Barkify and its affiliates, officers, and employees shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim, or one hundred dollars, whichever is greater.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we may provide additional notice (e.g., in-app or by email) where appropriate.
